Succession Planning

Are you a successful financial advisor looking to transition your clients to a firm of advisors you can trust, who will care for your clients with the same level of service they have come to expect?

At Szarka Financial:

  • Our highest priority is doing what is in the best interest of your client.
  • Your clients will work with a talented and dedicated staff providing exceptional customer service & passionate support.
  • Our philosophy is to develop long-term relationships with clients, not meet sales quotas.
  • We will work with you on a succession plan that fits within your timeline, whether that’s 2 years or 10 years.

A recent article by Joyce Hansen in Investment News (February 3, 2014) referenced a study by Cerulli Associates Inc., which reported that more than one-third of financial advisors in the U.S. are planning on leaving the business by 2024. And, for nearly one-third of those considering retirement, finding a succession partner is a major concern.

For advisors who have been in the business for 20 – 30 years the key priority is to transition their clients to a firm where they will receive the same type of hands-on care and attention to which they have become accustomed. Such advisors consider these people to be more like friends than clients and thus their struggle to find the “right” partner.

Szarka Financial continues to experience strong growth and is seeking to expand its footprint within Ohio along with neighboring states. Our unique infrastructure provides us with the scalability to be an excellent succession partner, whether the desired transition is planned to occur over a few years or more quickly.

We find that one of the biggest obstacles facing advisors considering retirement is the thought of losing control of their practice as the business transitions to a new owner. We understand and thus, welcome the opportunity to begin a dialog regarding the development of a comprehensive succession plan that can help to close the gap in your own retirement planning.
